A New Year’s Message From MyCancellation
A New Year’s Message From MyCancellation
Dear Friends,
"Why is my government doing this to me?" Among the many messages, letters, testimonials, and cancellation notices we’ve received this year, this question asked of us best describes the feelings of millions of Americans.
Your experiences have helped us to better understand how the Affordable Care Act is affecting Americans from all walks of life. Your stories left us heartbroken by the damage this law has caused, but inspired by your determination and resilience.
In 2014, we are committed to see that this law is repealed and replaced by reforms that put the rights and preferences of the people before those of the federal government and insurance companies. The community that has formed around MyCancellation can be the one to lead this effort.
We are devoted to providing information and resources to our community and will continue to listen to your stories. In the coming year, we will be hosting focus groups around the country to learn more about the solutions you want to see enacted. If you wish to participate or host such an event, please let us know.
Most of all, we want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for joining with us in this cause. At least with regard to health care, together, we can make sure no one has to ask the question, “Why is my government doing this to me?” ever again.
Happy New Year.
In Liberty,
Your Friends at MyCancellation and Independent Women’s Voice
